Production of BSH prisms from technically dried spruce boards (slats), with defective places reducing strength and optical defects (large bumps, cracks, mold-infested parts and bark flaws) cut out. By removing the weak spots and layering the slats with subsequent pressing, a quality-controlled product is created – glued laminated timber. All four surfaces are planed and the edges are precipitated (phased) at an angle of 45°.
They are made of coniferous spruce timber, dried to a moisture content of about 15%, which ensures their permanent shape stability, and at this moisture content, the wood is naturally protected against attack by wood-destroying pests.
BSH prisms are suitable as building parts for wooden structures for the manufacture of gazebos, sheds, pergolas, beamed ceilings or trusses.
